If you’re locked out of your AngelList account because you can’t access your two-factor authentication (2FA) codes, perhaps due to changing devices or uninstalling the authenticator app, you can regain access by following the steps below. Before proceeding, please ensure you are logging in with the correct email address associated with your investment. For security purposes, AngelList will require additional information about the account holder.
*Note: If the user who set up 2FA is no longer affiliated with your entity and you are the new authorized user, you can provide documentary evidence to support this change.
- Verify Identity: To reset your 2FA, AngelList needs to collect additional information about the account holder for security purposes. Start by uploading a copy of your ID here.*
- Contact AngelList: After uploading your ID, email invest@angellist.com from the email address associated with your account. Include your full name as it appears on your ID.
- Disable 2FA: Once AngelList verifies your identity (note that this process can take up to two business days), we will disable 2FA on your account, allowing you to log back in.
- Set Up 2FA Again: After logging in, you will be prompted to set up 2FA again to ensure full access to all platform features, including moving funds. If you are not automatically prompted but wish to enable 2FA, please follow the instructions here.
Enabling 2FA is essential for securing your account and accessing all features without restrictions. If you encounter any issues during this process, contact our support team at invest@angellist.com for assistance.
