How can I add someone else to my account?

There are many times you may want to give someone access to your account. For example, you may want your accountant to be able to access your tax documents directly, or want your business partner or spouse to be able to make investments through the same investment entity (you can find more ideas about account setups here). You can make changes from your Team Members page at any time, including:

  • Adding a Team Member
  • Removing a Team Member
  • Editing a Team Member's permissions

To Add Someone Else to Your Account

To add a new user to your AngelList account, click here then click the “Add Team Member” icon in the upper-right-hand corner of the page. You’ll be prompted to provide the new team member’s full name, email, and define their access permissions. Once complete, the new team member will receive an email inviting them to access your account. (Note: The new Team Member will need their own AngelList account to log in as a Team Member. They can create an account here.)

To Approve an Access Request

Account owners (and team members with the permissions to add team members and assign roles) can now send them a link to the form/document they need access to and they will be prompted to submit an access request.

Once they submit the request, you can take the following steps to approve their request:

  1. Check your email inbox for the access request. Click the black "Review Request" button.

  2. This will take you to your AngelList account, where you will be prompted to review the request. Please review the request carefully to make sure you recognize the requestor! If you grant someone access, they will have access to your entire account for as long as they are a Team Member.Untitled (7).png

  3. Click Approve to grant the requestor access, or Deny to refuse it.

  4. Regardless of review decision, you will receive an email confirming the action.
