Can an SPV receive warrants when it invests in a company? What if the warrant includes a token component?

An SPV can receive warrants as a result of an investment in a portfolio company. If the warrant includes a token or other cryptocurrency component, that component of the transaction will likely be deemed a “non-qualifying investment” and thus be restricted to no more than 20% of the SPV’s total size.
