Meridian uses your investor profile and preferences, together with GPs' audience settings and controls, to determine which opportunities appear in your Inbox.
You do not see every active SPV on AngelList. Instead, your Inbox is populated based on:
Your profile and preferences
- Stage, geography, and typical check size
- The firm lists you chose in your Investment Preferences (for example, Midas List, Institutional Firms)
- Sectors and stages you selected
GP controls on their side
- The GP must choose to publish an SPV to Meridian
- The SPV must meet Meridian’s eligibility criteria
- The GP can set visibility so that only certain investors, based on profile information, can see the opportunity or request access
If a GP decides not to publish an SPV to Meridian, or sets it to a limited audience, that SPV will not appear in your Inbox. It may only be visible to investors whom they invite directly.
If you want to widen or narrow what you see, the best way to do that is by updating your Investment Preferences, including the Deal flow lists and other filters that describe what you are interested in.
