Meridian introduces a new way for GPs to reach new investors while preserving your existing investor relationships.
In Meridian, your presence is organized around your Firm (your identity and network). This replaces the syndicate concept as the primary way investors recognize your organization and follow your activity.
Your existing syndicate members remain part of your network, and you can continue to invite them to SPVs on a deal-by-deal basis. Meridian primarily changes how new investors discover your opportunities and how you manage access and visibility.
Previously, investors often had to apply to join a syndicate before they could view or invest in its SPVs. On Meridian, discovery is based on an investor’s profile and investment preferences, and the audience controls you set when you publish an opportunity.
When you publish, you choose who can see the opportunity and whether investors must request access before viewing the data room. This helps you reach investors who are a better fit for what you’re raising, without requiring a separate syndicate application step or broad manual outreach.
