How are firm lists under Investment Preferences defined?

Investor lists control how broad your SPV flow is, alongside your profile and preferences. They range from Midas List firms (most selective) to All available SPVs (everything available to you), based on the firms investing in the round. Choosing a narrower list hides SPVs whose firms don't meet that list's bar, even if you'd otherwise be eligible. You can change your selection at any time under investor settings>preferences.

Midas List firms

The most selective option. Includes SPVs in rounds led by firms whose partners appear on the 2026 Forbes Midas List, based on portfolio valuations and exits.

Institutional lead investors

Includes Midas List firms, plus a broader set of institutional firms leading the round that meet specific criteria, such as:

  • At least $200M in assets under management (AUM)
  • A U.S. presence
  • A closed fund launched on or after January 1, 2022

Institutional co-investors

The broadest firm-based option. Includes any SPV in a round where an institutional firm meeting the criteria above is involved, whether it leads or co-invests. The only distinction from Institutional lead investors is that the firm can be a co-investor rather than the lead. Includes all of the above.

All available SPVs

The broadest option. Every SPV available to you, regardless of whether the participating firms are on an investor list.

All the SPVs listed are seed stage or later and were launched within the past 30 days.
