How are firm lists under Investment Preferences defined?

Firm lists determine which types of SPVs appear in your Inbox. Each list is based on the underlying venture firms leading or co-investing in the rounds in which the SPVs invest.

The Midas List

Includes SPVs participating in rounds led by venture firms with a partner on the 2025 Forbes Midas List. This list contains a smaller number of firms, so the overall volume of opportunities is lower, and includes only firms with GPs in the United States, Europe, and Israel.

The Institutional Firms

Includes SPVs participating in rounds led by venture firms that meet specific institutional criteria, such as:

  • At least $200M in assets under management (AUM)
  • A U.S. presence
  • A closed fund launched on or after January 1, 2022

The Institutional Co-investors

Includes SPVs participating in rounds where institutional co-investors meet the same criteria listed above:

  • At least $200M AUM
  • A U.S. presence
  • A closed fund launched on or after January 1, 2022

All SPVs available through these lists are seed stage or later and were launched within the past 12 months.
