Under US law, you can invest as long as you meet the US tax & legal requirements to invest, which include but are not limited to:
- You are an accredited investor.
- You need to wire the funds for your investment from a bank that has appropriate legal controls (any bank not in one of the countries on this list).
- You provide the required ancillary documentaiton.
You should always check with your attorneys regarding local regulations to determine whether you are permitted to invest under your local laws. We advise all investors to speak with their tax advisors to provide guidance on the tax impact of investing in syndicates and funds.
