The AngelList Network is a platform that connects fund managers (general partners) with accredited investors (limited partners). Once an LP joins your syndicate, they will have access to all eligible vehicles you make available for participation.
How the AngelList network works:
- Syndicate Visibility Options - you can control how your syndicate is accessed:
- Invite-Only (Private) – Only LPs you invite can join.
- Network (Discoverable) – Your syndicate is visible to LPs on the AngelList platform.
Carry fees & LP attribution:
- The carry fees you pay depend on where your LPs come from:
- LPs you invite directly (pre-existing relationships) → typically 20%
- LPs from the AngelList Network (who find you on the platform) → AngelList takes 5% of the carry.
You have the option of setting your Syndicate to “nondiscoverable,” ensuring that only LPs you invite can participate on your GP dashboard. You can change this at any time.
