Why can’t I see the net value of my investments?

Individual investment valuation data is private by default. Access to these valuations is controlled exclusively by Fund Leads, not by AngelList. Fund Leads decide whether to share this sensitive information with their LPs on an individual, case-by-case basis.

Valuations are often locked because they may involve deals or exits that haven’t been publicly announced yet. Prematurely sharing this information could have serious implications for various stakeholders, including employees and other investors who might not be aware of the transaction. To prevent unauthorized disclosure or unintended publicity, Fund Leads often choose to keep valuations, and subsequently the net value of your interest in the fund, private.

If you’re unable to see the net value of your investments and wish to access this information, please reach out directly to your Fund Lead through the message center. Only the Fund Lead has the authority to grant access to individual valuation data. AngelList cannot unlock or provide access to these valuations on your behalf.

For investors who have made at least 10 investments on the platform, AngelList provides an aggregated net value of your portfolio. This aggregate figure is calculated based solely on the data that Fund Leads have chosen to make accessible. If certain valuations remain locked by the Fund Leads, they will not be included in your aggregated net value.
