Yes, you may send wires from abroad, but all funds must be transferred in USD – AngelList cannot accept international currencies. If your bank doesn’t recognize AngelList’s SWIFT code, follow these steps to adjust your wire instructions:

- Navigate to your Funding Accounts page.
- Select “Wire Instructions” on the left-hand side.
- Toggle to “From non-U.S. bank.”
- Toggle on “My bank does not recognize GRNOUS33.”
AngelList does not charge fees for receiving wires. However, sending an international wire typically incurs a fee of $20–$25 USD, depending on your intermediary bank. Be sure to account for this fee, as it may reduce the final investment amount we receive, potentially requiring additional funds.
International wires usually take 3–4 business days to arrive, with assignment to your funding account within 1 additional business day. Please allow up to 5 business days for the wire to appear on your funding account page. Once assigned, it will display on the page, and you’ll receive an automatic confirmation email. Unfortunately, we cannot expedite this process, as timing depends on the sending, receiving, and any intermediary banks.
For time-sensitive investments, consider pre-funding your AngelList account. You can deposit funds in advance at any time to ensure availability without waiting for an international wire to clear.
