To update the primary email address associated with your AngelList account, such as when switching to a new work email or updating your personal information, log in and navigate to the Account Settings page. Once there, follow the instructions below:
Note: This process does not transfer account ownership. If you need to change the account owner – for example, due to retirement, a company departure, or a role transition – please contact us using this form. We will guide you through the necessary confirmation steps before transferring the investment entity to a new AngelList account.

Add the New Email Address
- At the top of the page, enter the new email address and click “Add Email.”
- A verification email will be sent to the new address; it won’t be added to your account until verified.

Verify the New Email Address
- Open the email from AngelList, and click “Verify email.”
- The system will prompt you to log in using your original primary email address; follow this prompt to proceed.

Set as Primary Email Address
- The new address will appear as a secondary email in the Account Settings page. To make it your primary, click the three dots to the right of the secondary email and select “Make primary email.”
- Confirm the change by entering your password and/or 2FA code as requested.

Delete the Old Email Address
- Once the new email is set as primary, you can delete the old email by clicking the three dots and selecting “Delete.” For security, you may be prompted to enter a new 2FA code.
Following these steps will successfully update your primary email address on your AngelList account.
