Is my AngelList-advised fund a reporting company?

No, AngelList-Advised funds (including AngelList-Advised SPVs, AngelList-Advised Venture Funds, and AngelList-Advised Rolling Funds) are pooled investment vehicles advised by a venture capital fund adviser (AngelList Advisors, LLC), that meet all the requisite criteria for exemption* from this new requirement. These fund entities do not need to file beneficial ownership information reports with FinCEN.

*All AngelList-Advised funds are reported on AngelList Advisors, LLC Form ADV, filed with the SEC and updated annually each March. AngelList Advisors, LLC is an exempt reporting adviser operating under the venture capital fund adviser exemption.
